A. Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in sales leadership, preferably in the hardware, lumber, or construction supplies industry.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience managing sales teams and meeting sales targets in a field-based or multi-site sales environment.
- Demonstrated experience in:
- Regional or area sales management
- Sales team supervision and coaching
- Territory planning and customer coverage
- Contractor, architect, and project account management
- Retail sales execution and branch coordination

B. Job Summary:
The Senior Sales Area Manager leads and manages regional retail sales operations across the Cebu region by working closely with branch teams, Area Accounts, Sales Agents, Sales Associates, and management to ensure achievement of sales targets, consistent field execution, and strong customer coverage.The role develops and implements sales programs, territory strategies, and customer engagement activities to strengthen market presence, improve product movement, and support sustainable revenue growth within the hardware, lumber, and construction supplies business.
The position also focuses on expanding architect, contractor, and retail project accounts by building strong working relationships with contractors, engineers, project owners, and walk-in customers to generate repeat business and project-based sales opportunities.Through regular field supervision, sales monitoring, coaching, and coordination with branch operations and management, the Senior Sales Area Manager ensures disciplined sales execution, stronger team accountability, improved customer service, and consistent operational performance across assigned territories.
C. Duties and Responsibilities:- Regional Sales Operations Management
- Leads and oversees regional retail sales operations across assigned territories.
- Coordinates with branch managers, Area Accounts, Sales Agents, and Sales Associates to ensure consistent sales execution.
- Aligns sales activities with operational priorities and revenue targets.
- Sales Strategy & Business Development
- Develops and implements sales strategies, promotional programs, and customer coverage plans.
- Works with management, branch operations, and suppliers to strengthen market presence.
- Supports product movement and revenue growth through targeted sales initiatives.
- Sales Monitoring & Performance Evaluation
- Monitors and evaluates branch and field sales performance through regular field visits and sales reviews.
- Conducts performance discussions with sales teams to assess productivity and execution discipline.
- Identifies gaps and recommends corrective actions to improve results across assigned areas.
- Client Relationship & Project Account Management
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with contractors, architects, engineers, project owners, and retail customers.
- Conducts regular client engagement activities to expand project accounts and generate repeat business.
- Supports customer retention through responsive account management and relationship-building efforts.
- Team Leadership & Sales Coaching
- Provides leadership, coaching, and day-to-day guidance to Area Accounts, Sales Agents, and Sales Associates.
- Works closely with team members in the field and at branch level to improve selling capability and customer handling.
- Supports the development of stronger team performance, accountability, and sales discipline.
- Operational Standards & Customer Service Management
- Ensures proper implementation of company sales standards, merchandising practices, and customer service expectations.
- Coordinates with branch operations and field personnel to maintain operational consistency.
- Strengthens customer satisfaction and supports sustainable sales growth through disciplined execution.
