Reporting to: Area Manager

Targets of the Position: Responsible for rendering assistance and exceptional service to customers to make sales and meet sales quota.

Specific Decisions and Responsibilities:
  1. Offer daily, routine, and regular leadership to the store
  2. Handle operational tasks
  3. Responsible for the recruitment of staff
  4. Handle matters relating to scheduling
  5. Receive shipment, and also ship when the need arises
  6. Responsible for ensuring the safeguard and maintenance of the store
  7. Ensure that the operations of the store are done in adherence to regulatory agencies requirements
  8. Adhere strictly to the prevailing guidelines and procedures guiding the operation of the store
  9. Handle the planning and prepare work schedules for staff
  10. Conduct the assigning of staff to special duties
  11. Discipline, retrench, and sanction erring employees
  12. Recommend special performing employees for special remuneration
  13. Map out the goals and objectives of the convenience store and set target for accomplishment
  14. Ensure the enforcement of health, safety, and security rules
  15. Serve as the connection between the store owner and the staff, and also between the store owner and customers
  16. Coordinate construction workers, network system, security, and other services as necessary
  17. Supervise payroll, account receivable and/or payable
  18. Make estimations for the demands consumers are likely to make
  19. Supervise and determine the amount, number, and type of goods sold
  20. Assist in the development and execution of active plans, objectives, and practices
  21. Ensure that customer satisfaction is the central objective of the convenience store operation
  22. Participate and give direction on the stocking and merchandising on each floor.
  23. Lead the task of identifying challenges and providing solutions to the challenges
Handle the development and execution of programs that can propel motivation
  1. Maximize capacity of sales fixture, models, and visual presentation.

Qualifications/Requirements

Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or any related field.
  2. At least 2 years of experience in retail operations, preferably in a supervisory role.
  3. Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
  4. Knowledge of inventory management, sales, and store operations.
  5. Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  6. Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays.
  7. Results-oriented with strong problem-solving and team management skills.
