Universal Robina Corporation is looking for a Scientist I
What are the Job Responsibilities?- Performs analysis using physico-chemical tests based on established procedures
- Performs testing of raw materials using instrumental method of analysis (e.g. HPLC, UV Vis, Gas Chrom)
- Conducts an extensive research and development to create innovative products specifically for food, drugs, and disinfectants.
- Collaborate with teams to ideate, prototype, and refine new product concepts.
- Performs sensory evaluation for new products.
- Preparation of ingredients, product formula documents and execution for product development.
- Preparation of technical documents such as but not limited to product specifications and procedure/directions to use of newly developed product
- Document and present research findings and test results
- Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor, including equipment preparation, safety checks, and proper facility housekeeping, ensuring smooth operations and a safe work environment.
- Perform other related functions which maybe assigned by the immediate superior from time to time
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry
- Must be a licensed Chemist or Chemical Technician
- 1–2 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control within the animal feeds industry.
- Conduct chemical analysis of veterinary drugs and raw materials
- Perform stability testing and formulation support
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements (e.g., BFAR, FDA, BAI) and industry standards for feed safety and quality.
- Pharmaceutical or veterinary drug manufacturing
- Willing to work in Bagong Ilog, Pasig City
