Logistics & Supply Chain Analyst

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The analyst provides actionable insights to improve efficiency, support decision-making, and drive operational excellence.

1. Data Analysis, Reporting & Visualization

• Collect, analyze, and interpret forecast and historical sales data from SHOG and SSIG to identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate with SHOG Analytics Manager for target-setting processes, ensuring stock on hand and incoming orders are accounted for.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for stakeholders, providing actionable insights and recommendations.

1. Inventory Management

• Demand: Consolidate requirements from SHOG, SSIG, and other departments; incorporate stock on hand and incoming orders into planning and target-setting.
• Supply: Monitor stock arrivals (PO), order lead times (China to CDC), and transfer lead times (CDC to Hubs/RDC). Coordinate delays or early arrivals with SHOG for effective sales strategy planning.
• Approve stock replenishment requests from Hubs and RDCs.

1. KPI Management & Reporting

• Define, implement, and monitor supply chain KPIs in collaboration with IT, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Prepare and present performance reports to leadership, identifying gaps and proposing corrective actions.

1. Monthly Operations Performance Monitoring

• Conduct regular reviews of operational performance to assess efficiency and effectiveness.
• Identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements.
• Collaborate with operational teams to ensure seamless execution of monthly deliverables.

1. Quality and SOP Management

• Develop, implement, and maintain supply chain SOPs to ensure consistency, efficiency, and quality across all operations.
• Monitor adherence to SOPs and recommend improvements as needed.
• Ensure quality standards are met at every stage of the supply chain.

1. Project Management

• Partner with SHOG and cross-functional teams to manage supply chain projects from planning to execution.
• Ensure timely delivery of project goals and objectives, while identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.

1. Other Duties as Assigned

• Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the VP, Supply Chain & Logistics.

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in supply chain analysis, data management, or related roles.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau) and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration across diverse teams.
