Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Growth
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities through market analysis and industry insights.
  • Collaborate with senior management to align strategies with overall company objectives.
Market Research & Analysis
  • Conduct competitive analysis and monitor market trends.
  • Translate market insights into actionable strategies for growth.
  • Continuously evaluate customer needs to refine our offerings.
Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, partners, and industry influencers.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Represent the company at networking events, industry conferences, and business forums.
Lead Generation & Negotiation
  • Generate new leads through networking, referrals, and business development channels.
  • Develop compelling proposals and presentations with cross-functional teams.
  • Negotiate deals, contracts, and agreements that maximize profitability while maintaining strong client satisfaction.
Sales Team Leadership & Management
  • Lead, inspire, and mentor a team of sales professionals.
  • Set clear sales targets and monitor team performance against KPIs and OKRs.
  • Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities to elevate team performance.
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop top sales talent to strengthen the team's capability.
Performance & Collaboration
  • Track, measure, and report on business development activities and sales performance.
  • Share insights and recommendations for improvement with senior leadership.
  • Work closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure consistent alignment of initiatives.

Who We're Looking For

Education & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or related field.
  • A Master's degree (MBA) is an advantage but not required.
Experience
  • At least 8–10 years of experience in business development or sales, with 3–5 years in a managerial role.
  • Financial technology industry experience is preferred for this business development position.
  • Strong background in B2B sales, strategic partnerships, or key account management.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets.
