About the role
The Payroll Specialist is responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processing, statutory benefits, employee records, and initiatives that support employee retention and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Encode salaries for new hires and process regular salary adjustments
- Oversee timekeeping and ensure accurate, on-time payroll processing
- Handle 13th-month pay, SLVL payouts, and final pay computation
- Ensure compliance with BIR, DOLE, SSS, Pag-IBIG, and PhilHealth reporting and payments
- Approve and process government loan and benefit applications
- Manage HMO, life, and personal accident insurance inclusion/exclusion and payments
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee information and issue COE and BIR 2316 forms
- Lead retention initiatives of the company.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Accounting, or related field
- At least 2 years of payroll and benefits administration experience
- Proficient in HRIS platforms and government portals
- Strong attention to detail and confidentiality
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
