Security Staff/Bellman

The successful candidate will serve as the first point of contact for guests and act as a guardian of the hotel environment, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and efficient experience for all visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide a warm, courteous welcome to arriving guests, assist with luggage handling, and assist guests to their rooms.
• Collaborate closely with the front desk and other departments to facilitate smooth check-in/check-out (including guest luggage storage) and respond promptly to guest requests or concerns.
• Conduct regular, comprehensive security patrols of the hotel premises to identify and mitigate potential safety risks.
• Perform frisking of employees and their belongings upon entry and exit, ensuring compliance with loss prevention protocols.
• Enforce hotel policies related to guest conduct, access control, and emergency preparedness to ensure compliance and maintain a safe atmosphere.
• Respond effectively during emergency situations, including coordinating evacuations, administering first aid if necessary, and liaising with emergency services.
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation of all security incidents, daily activities, and any noteworthy occurrences.
• Assist guests with additional services or unexpected issues, demonstrating sound judgment and professionalism.
• Work in close partnership with housekeeping, maintenance, and front office teams to uphold operational standards and enhance guest satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in hospitality, security, or related disciplines are preferred.
• Prior experience in hotel guest services and/or security is highly advantageous.
• Strong communication skills and a professional, guest-oriented demeanor.
• Ability to remain calm, observant, and decisive in high-pressure or emergency situations.
• Knowledge of safety and security protocols; certification in first aid and CPR is an asset.
• Physical capability to manage luggage, stand for extended periods, and perform patrol duties effectively.
• Demonstrated integrity, reliability, and proactive commitment to maintaining a secure environment.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required by hotel operations.
