Job Summary: The Accounting Assistant (Tax) is responsible for assisting in tax compliance and BIR filing. The role ensures accurate and timely submission of tax returns and government reports while supporting daily accounting tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and file BIR tax returns (VAT, Withholding Tax, Percentage Tax, etc.)
- Assist in processing tax payments and monitoring deadlines
- Prepare Alphalists and other BIR attachments
Record tax-related transactions and maintain proper documentation
- Assist in month-end closing and reconciliation
- Support audit and compliance requirements
- Graduate of BS Accountancy, Accounting, Finance, or related course
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
- Preferably with at least 1 year of accounting experience
- Knowledge in BIR filing and government reporting is an advantage
- Familiar with basic accounting processes (AR, AP, GL)
- Detail-oriented, organized, and willing to learn
- Can meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision
