GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for providing support in the development and implementation of quality assurance standards and measures within the project. This role is responsible for writing test cases/scripts, creating and executing functional tests, tracking defects and fixes, and reporting the progress of each.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supports the creation of Test Cases and Test Scripts.
• Executes of Test Cases and Test Scripts.
• Reports to Project Manager / QA Lead on the testing status of QA assignments.
• Effective Defect Reporting and Management.
• Provision of QA execution recommendations to project teams.
• Coordinate with other departments regarding Project tasks (Developers, PM, BA, etc.)
• Leads a small QA Team on a project.
• Other job-related activities that may be assigned from time to time.
• Education – At least graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or any related course.
• Related Work Experience – At least 2 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
• Knowledge – Knowledgeable in the following:
• Test Cases Creation and Analysis
• Manual Testing (black box, white box, etc.)
• Defect Reporting and Monitoring
• Automated Testing is a plus.
• Skills:
• Able to communicate effectively both written and oral
• Above-average requirements analysis skills.

• Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision and able to provide guidance to new team members.
