Finance | Accounting Officer

About the role

The Finance Officer ensures the financial health of the organization by managing accounting operations, maintaining compliance, and providing accurate reporting to support decision-making.

• Manage day-to-day financial operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and cash flow monitoring.
• Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Develop and monitor budgets, track variances, and provide financial forecasts and recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws, government regulations, and internal financial policies.
• Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and coordinate with external auditors.
• Support project teams with financial analysis, cost control, and resource allocation.
• Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and implement systems to improve efficiency.
• Present financial data and insights clearly to management and other stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred).
• Proven experience in financial management, accounting, or auditing.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.
