We are looking for a Regional Payroll Specialist who acts as a bridge between payroll processing and financial planning, ensuring that payroll costs are anticipated, recorded, and managed in line with the company's financial strategy. This integral role supports not just the operational aspect of payroll but also contributes strategically to broader financial management and planning.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Generate Payroll Reports: Prepare headquarters and country-level summaries and detailed
reports for management that cover payroll trends, account expenses, and future projections.
  • Work closely with the People & Culture (P&C) and Finance &/ Asset Management (AM) teams
regionally to collect and analyze payroll data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Keep up-to-date with payroll regulations at the federal, state, and local levels to ensure our
processes comply with the law.
  • Provide the Finance AM team with accurate and timely payroll expense data, which is crucial
for budgeting and financial forecasting.
  • Work closely with the Regional P&C Manager to resolve any payroll-related discrepancies and
issues with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Utilize payroll software with proficiency and recommend upgrades to enhance payroll
processing.
  • Ensure data integrity in the reports, and work with the Regional P&C Manager to resolve any
performance issues.
  • Manage and secure payroll records following company policies and legal requirements.
  • Analyze current payroll procedures and recommend improvements to develop best practices
within the payroll department.
  • Other ad hoc requests are assigned by the manager.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, and other related fields.
  • At least 2-3 years of relevant experience (hotel industry experience will be an advantage).
  • High level of accuracy in handling figures and financial data.
  • Ability to analyze information and create reports that help inform decision-making.
  • Effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with payroll software and strong Excel skills.
