The Senior Technical Support Engineer acts as the primary escalation point for complex technical issues onsite.
Scope of Work & Responsibilities- Advanced Troubleshooting: Resolve complex hardware, software, and connectivity issues escalated by Junior engineers.
- Endpoint Management: Manage the deployment, configuration, and security patching of the 2,000-laptop DaaS fleet using tools like Microsoft Intune or MECM (SCCM).
- VIP Support: Provide dedicated, high-touch technical assistance to client executives and department heads.
- Project Implementation: Assist in the deployment of new software bundles, OS upgrades, and onsite hardware refreshes.
- Knowledge Base Management: Document recurring issues and create "Standard Operating Procedures" (SOPs) for the Junior team to follow.
- Experience: 4+ years of experience in IT technical support or systems administration.
- Technical Proficiencies: Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 Pro, Microsoft 365 apps, and basic Active Directory (user/group management).
- Networking: Ability to troubleshoot LAN/WAN, VPN, and wireless connectivity issues.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills and the ability to explain technical solutions to non-technical users.
