Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Architecture & Provisioning
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
  • Manage and orchestrate containerized workloads using Kubernetes, ensuring optimal resource utilization and cluster health.
  • Automate the provisioning and configuration of development, staging, and production environments to ensure environment parity.
CI/CD & Deployment Automation
  • Design, implement, and maintain robust, automated CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration and frequent, reliable software deployments.
  • Partner with development teams to optimize build, test, and release workflows, reducing deployment cycle times and cognitive load on engineers.
  • Implement modern deployment strategies (e.g., Blue/Green, Canary, GitOps) to guarantee zero-downtime releases.
Observability & SRE Practices
  • Implement and manage comprehensive monitoring, logging, and distributed tracing systems across all platform layers.
  • Define and monitor critical system metrics (SLIs/SLOs) to proactively identify performance bottlenecks and system degradation.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, respond to infrastructure alerts, and participate in blameless post-mortems to improve system resilience.
Security & Compliance (DevSecOps)
  • Integrate automated security scanning tools (vulnerability assessments, secret detection, static code analysis) directly into the delivery pipelines.
  • Implement and enforce strict Identity and Access Management (IAM) controls, network security policies, and secure secrets management.
  • Assist in maintaining system compliance with industry standards (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR) through automated policy enforcement.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Developer Experience
  • Treat internal developers as your primary customer; build self-service tooling, CLI utilities, or developer portals to improve the internal engineering experience.
  • Collaborate closely with software engineers, QA, and security teams to troubleshoot complex infrastructure or deployment issues.
  • Document infrastructure designs, runbooks, and platform architectures to promote self-service and team transparency.
