Job Summary:

The Hotel Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of all hotel departments to ensure efficient service delivery, guest satisfaction, and compliance with hotel policies and standards. This role coordinates activities among the Front Office, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage, Maintenance, Security, and other operational areas to maintain a high-quality guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of all hotel departments.
  • Monitor staff performance and ensure adherence to hotel policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Assist department heads in planning, organizing, and resolving operational issues.
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional and timely manner.
  • Conduct regular inspections of hotel facilities to ensure cleanliness, safety, and operational readiness.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration among departments.
  • Support staff scheduling and workforce allocation to meet operational needs.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment of supplies and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security regulations.
  • Prepare operational reports and provide updates to hotel management.
  • Assist in training, coaching, and evaluating employees to improve performance and service quality.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies and coordinate appropriate corrective actions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in hotel operations, hospitality supervision, or a similar role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and shifts.
  • Proficiency in hotel management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong customer service orientation and attention to detail.
