- Verify patient information against the presented ID, ensuring accuracy in full name, date of birth, email address, contact number, and Maxicare card details
- Assess patients including checking of vital signs, medical history, and symptom evaluation before consulting with the Primary Care Physician or undergoing any diagnostic procedures in the clinic
- Verify patient details / status through Payor link
- Confirm the availability and coverage of the requested procedure under the patient's HMO benefits
- Queue patients to Primary Care Physician through emedcore for consultation and/or ancillaries for diagnostics
- Perform electrocardiograms (ECG) and endorse readings to Cardiologist
- Provide excellent customer service to all patients by addressing all their concerns with empathy and professionalism
- Assist scheduling appointments, answering phones, emails and managing patient inquiries
- Ensure that patients are being attended to in a timely manner
- Promote customer feedback and address any concerns from members regarding their availment
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation
- Ensure accurate reporting of the clinic's daily census
- Submit the End of Duty (EOD) report that documents the tasks completed throughout the day along with any additional special endorsements.
- Send out patient results based on turnaround time
- Refrigerator temperature monitoring
- Perform daily clinic schedule endorsement, including:
- Schedule of doctors for the day
- Doctors on leave with respective relievers
- Special instructions from doctors regarding their duty
- Arrange for doctors/staff reliever if necessary
- Safely store and manage all medical consent and relevant forms in compliance with the Data Protection Act (DPA) policy
- Perform regular inventory of vaccines, medical and clinic supplies
- Print medical results upon patient request
- Ensure sterilization and proper storage of medical instrument
- Obtain consent forms, waivers, or any applicable forms from patient prior to actual procedure
- Assist the Primary Care Physician during Annual or Executive Check-up of members
- Perform administrative tasks during Annual or Executive Check-up of members
- Other duties that may be assigned from time to time
- Graduate of any medical allied course; preferably BS Nursing
- Preferably with certification in Basic First Aid
- Familiar with patient scheduling systems and electronic health records
- Must possess basic knowledge of clinic operations and customer service protocols
- Computer proficient
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in using scheduling software, electronic health records, and basic office applications
- Compassionate and sincerely dedicated to assisting patients
- Capable of working in a fast-paced environment
- Positive team player and displays a strong work ethic
- Detail-oriented and flexible
