Commercial Insurance Specialist

We're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Commercial Insurance Specialist to support the day-to-day servicing and administration of commercial insurance accounts. In this role, you'll work closely with clients, insurance carriers, underwriters, and internal teams to ensure policies are processed accurately, documentation requirements are fulfilled, and accounts are maintained efficiently throughout the policy lifecycle.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Manage and service commercial insurance accounts, ensuring timely handling of policy-related requests and account maintenance
- Prepare, review, and submit ACORD forms, insurance applications, and supporting documentation to carriers and wholesalers
- Coordinate with underwriters, carriers, and clients to obtain quotes, fulfill underwriting requirements, and track policy submissions through issuance
- Process policy endorsements, renewals, cancellations, reinstatements, certificates of insurance, and other servicing requests
- Monitor outstanding documentation, loss runs, billing items, and policy subjectivities to ensure compliance with carrier requirements
- Maintain accurate records within agency management systems, carrier portals, and internal databases
- Support the client with additional tasks and responsibilities as needed, in alignment with the role and overall business objectives
Who We’re Looking For:
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial insurance account management, insurance operations, policy administration, or a similar role
- Experience working within a commercial insurance brokerage, agency, MGA, wholesaler, or carrier environment
- Familiarity with ACORD forms, carrier portals, and agency management systems such as AMS360, Applied EPIC, HawkSoft, or similar platforms
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving and follow-through
- Available to work in US time zones (Graveyard shift in the Philippines)
- Available to start within 2 weeks from job offer
Technical Requirements:
- Comfortable in using time-trackers (e.g. Time Doctor)
- Own laptop/desktop, noise-cancelling headphones, and webcam
- Reliable internet connection (at least 50 Mbps)
- Available backup equipment in cases of power and internet outages
