Supply Chain Analyst
About the role
To provide support in terms of inventory monitoring for built motors which include reviewing stocks availability, coordinating, monitoring shipment, and expediting Work in Production (WIP).
What you'll be doing- Generate and extract information out of Microsoft Dynamics AX, Oracle, and other database tools to analyze usage, inventory, and material availability.
- Maintain Finished Good stocking attributes (such as Lead-times, Order Multiples, Safety Stocks, etc.) and ensure ERP systems are kept up to date.
- Review inventory levels by analyzing sales forecast, historical usage, and lead time to maintain a high level of product availability and optimum levels of inventory.
- Coordinate with Plants regarding WIP schedule, expedite requests and other plant issues and concerns.
- Communicate with different departments production schedule, sales order, receiving and shipping.
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or closely related degree
- Minimum of 2-3 years work experience in inventory management, manufacturing, or warehousing
- Strong understanding of supply chain, manufacturing, and warehousing processes.
- Proficiency in MS Office Tools. Advanced user of Excel.
- Experienced user of Enterprise Resource Planning and database applications. Preference to Oracle and/or Dynamics AX.
- Good communication skills
- Amenable to work on graveyard shift
