Analyze drawings, specifications, and project requirements
Tendering & Procurement
Prepare tender documents and bills of quantities (BOQ)
Evaluate contractor bids and assist in selecting suppliers/subcontractors
Cost Control
Monitor project costs and track variations
Ensure the project stays within budget
Contract Administration
Prepare and manage contracts
Handle claims, disputes, and contract changes
Valuation & Payments
Measure completed work and certify payments
Prepare interim valuations and final accounts
Risk Management
Identify financial risks and propose cost-saving measures
Qualifications/Requirements
Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related fieldProfessional membership (e.g., RICS, CIOB) is often preferred
Relevant work experience in construction or cost management
