SALES AND MARKETING OFFICER
About the role
Sales and Marketing Officer plays a critical leadership role in driving sales growth, maintaining brand integrity, and supporting the strategic marketing direction of the company. This position oversees and supports the Sales and Marketing Staff assigned at project sites to ensure operational alignment with the company's sales goals and marketing strategy.The Officer is also responsible for high-level market research, competitor analysis, campaign development, and corporate-level branding initiatives.
Job Description- Provide direction, coaching, and performance monitoring to all Site Sales and Marketing Staff.
- Ensure site staff adhere to prescribed sales processes, reporting formats, and branding standards.
- Consolidate and analyze sales reports submitted by sites and use the data to guide decisions.
- Conduct regular site visits (virtual or physical) to assess staff performance and support field initiatives
- Lead market intelligence efforts, including trend tracking, customer segmentation, demand forecasting, and competitor profiling.
- Regularly produce strategic insights to inform leadership and influence pricing, product, and promotional strategies.
- Analyze customer behavior data and sales performance across projects to identify emerging needs and opportunities.
- Create and manage high-level digital marketing campaigns, promotions, and sponsored content.
- Monitor the performance of social media pages across project sites, ensuring timely and professional customer engagement.
- Review analytics (reach, engagement, inquiries) and guide site staff in optimizing performance.
- Prepare consolidated sales and marketing performance reports for executive management.
- Develop quarterly and annual marketing plans aligned with the company’s goals.
- Support budgeting processes for sales and marketing initiatives.
- Review existing processes for rooms for improvement and make new processes as necessary.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
- At least 3–5 years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development (preferably in construction, aggregates, or related industry).
- Proven leadership and supervisory experience.
- Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in digital tools, MS Office, and social media marketing platforms.
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
