MANDARIN LOGISTICS DIRECTOR- Develop and implement comprehensive logistics, shipping, and supply chain strategies to support company goals.
- Manage end-to-end logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, distribution, and import/export processes.
- Lead and supervise logistics teams across regions, ensuring efficient workflow and high performance.
- Serve as the primary liaison with Mandarin-speaking suppliers, freight forwarders, customs agents, and third-party logistics providers.
- Negotiate contracts with carriers, shipping companies, and service providers, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance.
- Oversee inventory control, order fulfillment, and delivery timelines, ensuring customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Analyze logistics performance metrics and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
- In-depth knowledge of global shipping, freight, customs clearance, and cross-border logistics processes.
- Fluency in Mandarin (written and spoken) and English.
- Proven ability to lead logistics teams and manage international vendor relationships.
- Experience working with Chinese manufacturers, logistics firms, or trading companies.
- Familiarity with e-commerce fulfillment, bonded warehouse management, or 3PL operations.
