Farm supervisor

Job Description

1. Supervision & Leadership

• Lead and guide the vegetable garden team in daily tasks.
• Assign work and ensure it is completed on time and to standard.
• Motivate and support team members for better performance.

1. Garden Operations

• Plan, organize, and oversee planting, watering, weeding, fertilizing, and harvesting.
• Monitor plant health and apply solutions to pests, diseases, or nutrient problems.
• Implement crop rotation and planting schedules for continuous production.

1. Maintenance

• Ensure tools, equipment, and irrigation systems are in good working order.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the garden area.

1. Record Keeping & Reporting

• Document planted crops, harvest results, and distribution.
• Submit regular progress updates and concerns to the supervisor.

1. Training & Development

• Teach team members proper gardening techniques and safety measures.
• Encourage eco-friendly and sustainable gardening practices.

1. Transportation

• Drive a motorcycle for work-related tasks such as transporting tools, supplies, areas to check, or reports when necessary.

1. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure all gardening and driving activities follow safety guidelines.
• Promote safe, responsible, and sustainable work practices.

• Experience in vegetable gardening, landscaping, or agriculture graduate.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Must know how to drive a motorcycle and hold a valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge of organic farming practices is an advantage.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Preferred local resident within Carmen Cebu or nearby Municipalities.
