ACCOUNTING SUPERVISOR
Job Description
The Accounting Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the accounting department and ensures accurate and timely financial reporting. This role involves supervising accounting staff, reviewing financial records, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards, and supporting management with financial analysis and reporting.
Qualifications:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or any related field.
- Minimum of 2–5 years of relevant work experience in Accounting, preferably with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, taxation, and internal controls.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and accounting systems/software.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities with the capacity to supervise and mentor accounting staff.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders.
