Safety Officer

About the role

The Safety Officer plays a critical role in preventing accidents and injuries in the warehouse and transport facilities.

• Conducting regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards
• Developing, implementing, and monitoring safety policies, procedures, and training programs
• Investigating incidents and accidents, and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence
• Collaborating with various departments to promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations
• Maintaining detailed records and documentation related to safety incidents and activities
• Providing safety-related guidance and support to all employees
• Staying up-to-date with industry best practices and regulations to continuously improve our safety standards

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environment Science or a related field
• Must have Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) certification and/or Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) for SO2/SO3 Accreditation
• With 3-5 years of experience in Warehousing and Transportation Operations
• Knowledge of safety legislation, workplace health & safety standards, HIRAC, and regulatory requirements
• Experience in developing health & safety policies and procedures
• Proficient in safety management systems, data analysis, and reporting
