The QA/QC Safety Officer in this Position works closely with the Project in Charge, Project Engineer, and Project Manager to ensure that the final product observes the company's quality standards. They are responsible for the development and implementation of inspection activities, the detection and resolution of problems, and the delivery of satisfactory outcomes.Safety officers are the ones who are responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing the company's employee safety at work to ensure that the company complies, with and adheres to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) guidelines.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:- Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
- Maintains contact and relationships with private individuals and other organizations.
- Identifies labor, material, and time requirements.
- Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.
- Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
- Presents prepared estimates by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information.
- Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Maintains cost database by entering and backing up data.
- Continually updates technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing technical publications.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Estimator Qualifications and Skills:
- Strong analytic abilities
- Working knowledge of Excel spreadsheets and word processing programs & S-Curve
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Ability to coordinate and work independently
- Knowledge of CAD & Plan Swift software
- Must be willing to do other task assigned from time to time.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- Valid COSH
- First-aider certificate
- Ammendable to work in Taguig City
