GA HR Consultancy Inc., the accredited executive search partner, has been entrusted to find a seasoned Quality Control (QC) Manager who will lead the company’s quality operations and champion continuous improvement across its manufacturing processes.

Role Summary

We are seeking a results-driven QC Manager with a proven track record in the food manufacturing sector. This role is critical to ensuring product quality, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in raw materials such as oils, starches, and gelatin, proficiency in microanalysis, and the strategic insight to balance quality initiatives with cost efficiency.

This is a leadership position that involves supplier collaboration, lab oversight, and cross-functional influence.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee QC activities across raw materials, in-process, and finished goods
Lead laboratory operations, including microanalysis and equipment validation
Manage and resolve customer complaints with a professional, data-driven approach
Collaborate with suppliers and equipment vendors to troubleshoot and improve product outcomes
Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO, BRC, HACCP, and Halal standards
Implement quality improvements with cost-efficiency in mind
Drive documentation, audit readiness, and training programs
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and quality ownership

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in QC/QA management within a food manufacturing environment
In-depth understanding of raw materials (oils, starches, gelatin) and quality assurance methodologies
Hands-on experience with microanalysis and lab-based testing
Strong track record of resolving customer complaints and collaborating with suppliers
Analytical, cost-conscious mindset with strong decision-making ability
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
