JUNIOR LAWYER
About the role
Liwayway Marketing Corporation is seeking a talented Junior Lawyer to join our dynamic legal team. This full-time role is based in Pasay City, Metro Manila and will play a crucial part in supporting our company's strategic initiatives and day-to-day legal operations.
What you'll be doing- Providing general legal advice and support across various areas of the business
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts and agreements
- Assisting with regulatory compliance and mitigating legal risks
- Conducting legal research and analysis to support business decisions
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations
- Staying up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations and industry best practices
- Degree in Law with a license to practice in the Philippines
- 1-3 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in a generalist in-house legal role
- Strong understanding of commercial law, contract law and corporate governance
- With knowledge and experience in Intellectual Property and Data Privacy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality legal services
- Proactive mindset and attention to detail to identify and mitigate legal risks
