What you'll be doing
- Providing strategic direction and leadership to the design team
- Developing and executing design concepts that align with the company's vision and client requirements
- Coordinating the work of various design disciplines
- Reviewing and approving design drawings, specifications, and other project documents
- Collaborating with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure design requirements are met
- Ensuring design projects adhere to relevant building codes, regulations, and quality standards
- Proficiency in using design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to balance technical and commercial considerations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present design concepts to clients and stakeholders
- A bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field, and a valid license to practice as an Architect is an advantage but not required
- Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and design standards relevant to the architecture industry
