Site Engineer

REPORTING TO : PROJECT ENGINEER/AREA MANAGER/PROJECTS AND OPERATIONS MANAGER

JOB SUMMARY

A site engineer is responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects on-site, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards. This role involves coordinating with client’s, supervising construction activities, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and engineering standards.

1. Candidate must possess Bachelor’s/College Degree in Civil Engineering.
2. At least one (1) to two (2) years’ experience as Site Engineer in construction industry is required.
3. Excellent in Field Management Skills.
4. Excellent in estimates.
5. Must be Self Driven, Highly Competent and Responsible.
6. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials and legal regulations.
7. With Strong Leadership Skills.

1. Site Engineering duties: Planning and Management

• To strictly monitor and implement all safety and health compliance of the project.
• To implement the strict compliance of the quality assurance of the project in accordance to QA/QC standard policy.
• To review and interpret project drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• To prepare estimates for rebars, concreting, formworks and architectural works.
• To maintain and inspect all gridline, elevation, openings and utilities tapping are correct and firm.
• To control the delegation of all manpower in the project in a daily basis schedule and targets.
• To supervise and manage on-site construction activities to ensure adherence to project plans and timelines.
• To ensure all materials used in the project are approved and correct in accordance to specification and drawings.
• To monitor and control all equipment construction activities and its productivity rates.
• To monitor and screen all manpower construction activities in accordance to given target and its productivity rates as well as its capability.
• And to prepare and submit to the Project Engineer/Area Manager/Projects and Operations Manager all ongoing day to day construction activities in accordance to given daily schedule.
• To maintain accurate records of site activities, progress report and inspections records.
• To prepare the material request in accordance to actual site condition, drawing and technical specification.
• To prepare subcontractor/client billing in accordance to quality/quantity assurance and project progress.

1. Site Analysis

• To inspect and approved all construction alignments and elevation.
• To inspect time to time all ongoing constructions activities on site are compiled to the approved drawing, technical specification and quality standard of works.
• To elevate project concerns during site construction and coordination meeting.
• To ensure the documentation is up-to-date and file correctly

1. Other Duties

• To provide back-up relief for other team members and perform ad-hoc tasks that may be assigned from time to time to provide support to the department and the company.

To prepare project monthly accomplishment billing and prepare all necessary documents & estimates for possible variation order and or other applications needed.
