Project Oversight: Oversee daily site operations, managing schedules, materials, and subcontractors to keep projects on track.
Quality & Safety: Ensure work adheres to engineering designs, quality standards, and strict health & safety regulations, conducting inspections and risk assessments.
Technical Support: Interpret technical drawings, provide engineering advice, and troubleshoot site-specific issues.
Reporting & Documentation: Maintain site diaries, track costs, record progress (time, materials, labor), and prepare reports for management.
Coordination: Liaise with clients, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth workflow and communication.
Resource Management: Control the allocation and utilization of plant, equipment, and materials.
Qualifications/Requirements
Essential Skills & QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Technical: Knowledge of construction methods, surveying, quality control, risk management, and project management tools.
Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, communication, leadership, time management, and ability to work under pressure.
Attributes: Attention to detail, self-motivation, teamwork, and physical fitness for site conditions.
