DEMAND PLANNER

ROLE SUMMARY:

The Demand Planner is responsible for forecasting demand, managing inventory levels, and ensuring alignment between supply and demand to maintain a smooth and efficient supply chain. This role involves analyzing historical sales, market trends, and seasonality, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and implementing strategies to optimize inventory and reduce supply risks.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and seasonality to generate accurate demand forecasts.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance to incorporate promotions, product launches, and business insights into forecasts.
• Monitor and improve forecast accuracy.
• Translate demand forecasts into supply and order plan.
• Identify potential supply risks (e.g., stockouts, excess inventory, supplier delays) and develop mitigation strategies.
• Participate in the S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) process to ensure alignment between demand, supply, and financial targets.
• Coordinate with principal and regional partners.
• Conduct monthly forecast maintenance.
• Input volume of demand forecast in the system · Documentation of inter store stock transfer
• Special projects or tasks related to the position.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Industrial) or equivalent.
• At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in Supply and Demand Planning.
• Required Skill(s): Analytical and planning skills, Proficient in MS Excel
• Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures.
• Knowledge in different forecasting methods

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with inventory management systems and ERP platforms (SAP Business One).
• Knowledge of S&OP processes.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
