Demand Planner

Paris Baguette, a Korean Bakery and Cafe is looking an experienced and highly organized Demand Planner to join our team.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Creates an effective material replenishment plan based on historical sales data and careful consideration of each material's shelf life.
• Oversees inventory by routinely monitoring aging, slow-moving, and non-moving stock, and ensures damaged goods and vendor returns are properly processed.
• Supports price negotiations by leveraging purchase volumes, and ensures cost-effective and equitable allocation among multiple suppliers and brands, while adhering to quality standards established by the R&D and QA departments.
• Collaborates closely with Marketing and R&D on limited-time offer (LTO) products to guarantee timely launches and supply availability. Quickly highlights any mismatches between projected and actual volumes to help prevent inventory write-offs due to overstock.
• Maintains supply continuity by closely tracking inventory movement, promptly identifying possible stockouts, and coordinating with the purchasing team to resolve issues as early as possible.
• Assists with data management by ensuring only active material codes are in the system, with no duplicate or confusing codes or conversion units.
• Contributes to the development of processes and controls to support department goals.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Work experience at least 3 years in demand planning or similar roles
• Education: BS Industrial Engineer
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Strong knowledge of purchasing principles and procedures
• Excellent computer skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Able to work independently and collaboratively with a team
