Responsibilities:

The Actuarial Analyst plays a critical role in developing and maintaining pricing strategies for products and services. Their responsibilities include:

• Applying statistical and financial models to evaluate pricing decisions for new and renewing accounts.
• Monitoring performance and making recommendations based on market conditions (industry trends, customer behavior, competitor actions) to determine optimal pricing strategies.
• Conducting market research and surveys to gather data on pricing and market conditions.
• Collaborating with various departments such as sales, marketing, and product development to align pricing strategies with overall business objectives.
• Providing sales support to ensure invoicing and purchase order procedures align with pricing guidelines.
• Communicating findings and recommendations to senior management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, and business acumen.
• Ideally with actuary experience or exposure to actuarial work.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau).
• The ability to work independently and collaboratively.
