Marketing Producer / Marketing All Rounder
It is not a role for someone who only wants to manage agencies, brief designers or coordinate other people's output.
You will be the lead marketing person supporting an established Australian technology business, working closely with teams in Australia and internationally. The right person will be practical, organised, creative and able to turn technical ideas into clear marketing material, social media content, website improvements and trade show support.
This role suits a capable marketing generalist who enjoys producing work dirently.
You will be responsible for creating marketing collateral, preparing social media content, maintaining and improving website content, supporting campaigns, and organizing trade show and event requirements.
You do not need to be a specialist in every area, but you do need to be willing and able to do the work yourself. This includes writing copy, preparing layouts, updating content, coordinating suppliers, checking details and following tasks through to completion.
Key Responsibilities- Create brochures, flyers, products sheets, capability statements, presentations and other marketing collateral.
- Write and edit clear marketing copy for technical products and services.
- Prepare and schedule social media content, particularly on LinkedIn.
- Maintain and improve website content, including page updates, landing pages, campaign pages and product information.
- Work with web developers or suppliers where needed, while still owning the content and outcome.
- Turn technical information from internal teams into clear, useful marketing material.
- Support email campaigns, newsletters and customer communications.
- Organise trade show and event requirements, including displays, printed materials, promotional items, logistics and follow-up activity.
- Maintain brand consistency across all materials.
- Prepare basic designs, layouts and content using tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office or similar.
- Coordinate with external designers , printers, web developers and event suppliers where required.
- Keep marketing activity organised, current and moving forward.
- Experience in a marketing all-rounder, marketing coordinator, marketing producer or similar role.
- Strong written English and the ability to write clearly for business audiences.
- Experience creating marketing collateral yourself.
- Experience preparing social media content.
- Experience working with websites, CMS platform, web developers or website improvement projects.
- Good design sense and the ability to produce clean, professional-looking material.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once
- A practical "get it done" attitude.
- The confidence to work with technical products and turn complex information into simple marketing messages.
Important
This role requires someone who is comfortable doing the practical marketing work themselves.
You should be able to show examples of work you have personally created or significantly contributed to, such as:
- brochures or flyers;
- social media posts;
- website content;
- product or service pages;
- presentations;
- email campaigns;
- event or trade show material;
- brand or sales collateral.
Applicants who can demonstrate actual work produced will be strongly preferred.
Experience in any of the following would be an advantage:
- Technology, software, engineering, construction, energy, building services or B2B marketing.
- Website platforms such as WordPress or similar CMS tools.
- Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or other design tools.
- Email marketing platforms.
- Trade show or event coordination.
- Video editing or basic motion graphics.
- CRM or marketing automation systems.
- Working with Australian, New Zealand or international businesses.
