About the Role

As a Senior AU Tax Accountant, you'll apply your Australian public practice experience to prepare and review tax returns for companies, partnerships, trusts, and individuals while supporting critical compliance outcomes. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse engagements, expand your tax expertise, and build a long-term career in a highly professional environment.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in an Australian accounting practice with a strong focus on taxation and compliance
• Proven experience preparing and reviewing Australian tax returns for Individuals, Companies, Trusts, and Partnerships
• Strong technical knowledge of Australian taxation legislation, compliance requirements, and lodgment obligations
• Experience managing tax compliance engagements within a public practice environment
• Solid understanding of Australian accounting standards, financial reporting, and compliance processes
• Hands-on experience using cloud-based accounting and tax software
• CPA, CA, or actively working toward professional qualification
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage professionally with stakeholders
• Excellent time management, organization, and ability to manage multiple client deadlines
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving capability
• Ability to work independently while maintaining quality and accuracy in a fast-paced accounting environment

• Prepare and collate audit documentation to support compliance and reporting requirements
• Ensure strict adherence to systems, procedures, and policies for file management, retention, and data security
• Drive continuous technical development while supporting team-wide learning and capability building
