Job Summary:
- We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Associate to support our sales and growth initiatives. The ideal candidate is confident in lead generation, cold calling, client engagement, and business presentations. This role requires often involve high-volume outbound prospecting, relationship-building abilities, closing deals, proactive approach in identifying new business opportunities and expanding the company’s network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research and identify potential clients and business opportunities
- Generate leads through cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn, referrals, and networking activities
- Qualify prospects and schedule meetings for the sales or leadership team
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients
- Prepare and deliver company presentations, capability decks, and service introductions
- Attend business meetings, networking events, conferences, and industry gatherings to promote the company’s services
- Coordinate with internal teams to align client requirements and business solutions
- Maintain accurate records of leads, client interactions, and pipeline updates in CRM or tracking tools
- Assist in preparing proposals, quotations, and business documents as needed
- Achieve monthly targets related to lead generation, meetings set, and business opportunities created
Qualifications/Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field
- At least 3-4 years of experience in business development, sales, lead generation, or client acquisition
- Strong experience in cold calling and appointment setting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Confident in conducting presentations and speaking with clients or executives
- Strong interpersonal and networking skills
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and CRM tools
- Experience attending or representing companies in networking or corporate events is an advantage
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of B2B sales processes
- Experience in staffing, IT services, consulting, or corporate sales is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities in a fast-paced environment
