Social Media Marketing & Media Associate

Job Summary

The Social Media Marketing & Media Associate is responsible for the day-to-day execution, monitoring, and reporting of Unioil’s social media and digital media activities. This role ensures consistent brand presence across platforms, monitors competitor and industry activity, manages media spending documentation, and supports issue and crisis monitoring.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, responsive, and execution-driven, with a strong understanding of social platforms and media operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor comments, messages, and brand mentions across all major platforms
• Execute and manage daily social media activities across all brand platforms

• Execute and monitoring of digital media spends
• Track media performance and consolidate reports
• Process and monitor billings related to social media and digital media buys

• Conduct daily scanning of competitor news, promotions, and activities
• Monitor competitor social media activities and emerging trends
• Flag potential issues, risks, or sensitive content concerns to the marketing lead
• Support crisis and issue monitoring on social platforms, including escalation when necessary

• Set digital performance benchmarks and evaluate campaign effectiveness
• Analyze data and insights to continuously improve digital results and ROI

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in social media or digital marketing roles
• Hands-on experience managing brand social media accounts
• Strong attention to detail and execution discipline
• Basic understanding of digital media metrics and reporting
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized and comfortable working with timelines and billings
