Accounting Manager

PEPITO STADEL CONSULTING (formerly WDP CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANT) is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our growing team.

In this role, you will be assigned to oversee the overall accounting operations of one of our clients, ensuring financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and efficient accounting processes.

The Accounting Manager will work closely with the client's accounting team while reporting directly to the company's Managing Director, providing strategic financial insights and operational support.

• Oversee the client's day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Monitor financial reporting and maintain compliance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS), tax regulations, and other statutory requirements.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop the client's accounting staff to ensure high performance and continuous improvement.
• Review accounting policies, internal controls, and financial procedures to identify opportunities for increased efficiency and risk mitigation.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory agencies as needed.
• Prepare management reports, financial analyses, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
• Provide financial recommendations and strategic insights to support business decisions.
• Ensure timely filing of taxes and other government compliance requirements.
• Perform other finance and accounting duties as assigned by the Managing Director.

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• At least 5 years of accounting experience, with 2–3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine accounting standards, taxation, and financial reporting.
• Experience managing a full accounting cycle and leading an accounting team.
• Proficient in accounting software (preferably SAP), MS Excel and/or Google Sheets.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.

• Assignment: Oversees the accounting department of an assigned client while representing Pepito Stadel Consulting.
