About the role
We are seeking a Mandarin Finance Manager to join our team in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, Metro Manila on a full-time basis. This is a strategic finance position that plays a crucial role in delivering financial accounting, reporting and analysis services.As Mandarin Finance Manager, you will be responsible for managing financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing clear financial insights to support business decision-making. Your multilingual capability in Mandarin will be essential in liaising with regional stakeholders and managing cross-border financial reporting requirements.
Key responsibilities- Prepare, review and ensure accuracy of financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations, journal entries and consolidation activities
- Develop and analyse financial reports, including variance analysis and key performance indicators for management review
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger functions to maintain accurate financial records
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, tax obligations and internal policies across financial operations
- Liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders, including regional management and partners, to facilitate communication and financial reporting
- Support internal and external audit processes, preparing documentation and responding to audit enquiries
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting and strategic financial planning initiatives
- Mentor and supervise junior accounting staff, fostering their professional development and ensuring quality of work
- Proven experience in month-end and year-end financial close procedures and account reconciliations
- Demonstrated competency in financial analysis, reporting and variance analysis
- Experience with accounting software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Proven leadership capability and experience in training and supervising accounting team members
- Strong communication skills and ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to various stakeholders
- Experience in liaising with regional or international finance teams is advantageous
