Job Summary

The Associate Accounting Manager supports the Finance & Administration functions of the organization. The role oversees day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, compliance, and administrative services.

Key Responsibilities
 A.  Finance & Accounting
  • Manage daily accounting operations including general ledger, AP/AR, expense monitoring, and month-end closing activities.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, management reports, and analysis to support business decisions.
  • Assist in annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements (BIR, SEC, SSS, PHIC, Pag-IBIG, LGU permits, etc.).
  • Coordinate with external and internal auditors; prepare audit schedules and support audit requirements.
  • Review, enhance, and implement internal controls, accounting policies, and standard operating procedures.
 B.  Administration & Office Management
  • Oversee day-to-day administrative and office operations to ensure an organized and efficient work environment (supplies, facilities, utilities, asset inventory, documentation, etc.).
  • Maintain proper documentation, filing systems, and safekeeping of financial and administrative records (physical and digital).
  • Manage vendor relationships, support contract renewals, and ensure compliance with company documentation standards.
  • Supervise administrative support staff and ensure adherence to company policies, processes, and service standards.
 C.  Payroll Coordination (Finance Scope Only)
  • Consolidate and validate payroll-related data such as attendance summary, overtime, allowances, and deductions received from HR.
  • Ensure accurate preparation of payroll entries, financial records, and statutory contributions for payroll processing.
  • Coordinate with HR for payroll cut-off validation and compliance documentation.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related business field. (CPA is an advantage, but not required)
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, with exposure to administrative supervision preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of PH taxation, accounting standards, and government compliance requirements.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); knowledge of accounting systems/ERP is a plus.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and analytical skills, with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
