Job Description

Are you a visionary IT leader with a passion for banking innovation? We are looking for a Head of Deposits and Digital Banking Department to lead a dynamic team of developers and project managers. In this critical leadership role, you will manage system development, enhancement, and support for the company's digital banking and deposit products.

You will ensure that system solutions are aligned with business goals, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations, while championing quality, efficiency, and innovation.

• Oversee end-to-end development, maintenance, and enhancement of business applications.
• Address high-level automation and support requirements from stakeholders and management.
• Collaborate with the BASS Division Head and business units on strategic technology initiatives.
• Manage vendor relationships for system support and services.
• Identify and implement service improvements using data from system issues and performance.
• Monitor progress of projects and support tickets; submit regular reports to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with Quality Management (QM) standards and regulatory requirements.
• Allocate and monitor project resources and support staff.
• Drive team development through training, mentoring, and succession planning.
• Formulate departmental policies, systems manuals, and strategic plans.
• Conduct performance evaluations and support continuous education for the team.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field (from a reputable university).
• Minimum 10 years of IT experience, with at least 3 years in the banking industry.
• At least 5 years of experience in team leadership or department management.
• Strong background in system development, programming, and project management.
• Experience with vendor coordination and IT service management is an advantage.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of SDLC methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
• Effective communicator with strong documentation and reporting skills.
