Healthcare Customer Service Representative
Iloilo City | Onsite | Shifting Schedule
Job Purpose (PBH-focused)
You will be responsible for delivering accurate, empathetic, and efficient support to healthcare members by resolving inquiries, explaining benefits, and ensuring a smooth service experience while maintaining compliance with healthcare guidelines.
Key Job Responsibilities (What success looks like in the role)- Handle inbound and/or outbound healthcare-related inquiries with accuracy, empathy, and professionalism
- Resolve member concerns related to benefits, claims, eligibility, and coverage within defined service standards
- Document all interactions clearly and accurately in the system to ensure end-to-end case resolution
- Meet or exceed performance metrics such as AHT, FCR, QA scores, and customer satisfaction (CSAT)
- Follow compliance standards and healthcare regulations in every interaction
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely resolution of escalated cases
- Demonstrate ownership of customer concerns until full resolution is achieved
- High First Call Resolution (FCR) rate
- Consistently meeting Quality Assurance (QA) standards
- Maintaining acceptable Average Handling Time (AHT) without compromising service quality
- Strong Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) scores
- Low escalation and repeat call rates
Qualifications (Based on demonstrated ability, not just credentials)
Must-Have:
- At least 2nd year college undergraduate (any course)
- Minimum 6 months of BPO experience in a healthcare account
- Strong English communication skills (spoken and written)
- Ability to handle high-volume customer interactions in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work on shifting schedules and on-site in Iloilo City

- Experience handling healthcare insurance, claims, or benefits inquiries
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to stay calm and empathetic in difficult customer situations
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills
- Proven ability to meet performance metrics in a BPO setting
