OptiHR Business Solutions Inc. is hiring a Cloud Security Engineer for a technology-driven organization supporting cloud-based platforms and digital infrastructure operations.

We are looking for a security-focused IT professional with hands-on experience in cloud security operations, vulnerability management, incident response, and security monitoring. This role is ideal for candidates who can help strengthen cloud security posture, support compliance initiatives, and collaborate with technical teams to maintain secure and reliable cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Support cloud security monitoring and operational activities across AWS and/or Azure environments
• Assist in implementing and maintaining cloud security controls, configurations, and best practices
• Monitor cloud environments for security alerts, vulnerabilities, and suspicious activities
• Participate in vulnerability assessments, remediation tracking, and security reviews
• Support identity and access management processes and security governance initiatives
• Assist in incident response investigations, root cause analysis, and issue resolution efforts

• Help maintain security documentation, procedures, and operational records
• Support compliance initiatives aligned with internal security standards and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate with infrastructure, development, and compliance teams on security-related concerns
• Participate in security improvement projects and risk mitigation activities
• Stay updated on cloud security trends, threats, and industry best practices

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
• At least 3–5 years of experience in cybersecurity, cloud security, infrastructure security, or related technical roles
• Experience supporting AWS and/or Microsoft Azure cloud environments
• Familiarity with cloud security concepts, security monitoring, and vulnerability management
• Exposure to SIEM, endpoint security, IAM, or security monitoring tools is an advantage
• Knowledge of networking, operating systems, and infrastructure security fundamentals
• Experience handling security incidents, alerts, or operational security support activities
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills
• Able to work collaboratively within technical and cross-functional teams

• Exposure to cloud security tools and security frameworks
• Familiarity with compliance standards such as ISO 27001, SOC, or related frameworks is an advantage
• Basic scripting or automation exposure is a plus
• Security certifications are advantageous but not required
