Construction Sales Manager

We are looking for a results-driven and relationship-oriented Construction Sales Manager who can lead business development initiatives within the construction and industrial manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate is commercially aggressive, technically knowledgeable, and capable of building long-term partnerships with contractors, developers, consultants, and industrial clients while driving sustainable revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company revenue and growth targets within the construction and industrial manufacturing industries
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities, projects, and key accounts across commercial, industrial, and infrastructure sectors
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, developers, consultants, project managers, plant managers, and decision-makers
  • Conduct regular market mapping, competitor analysis, and project monitoring to identify upcoming opportunities and industry trends
  • Lead end-to-end sales activities including client meetings, presentations, negotiations, quotations, bidding, and contract discussions
  • Collaborate closely with technical, operations, engineering, and production teams to ensure alignment of client requirements and project deliverables
  • Provide technical and commercial recommendations based on client specifications, project requirements, and industry standards
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, account updates, and performance reports for management review
  • Monitor project timelines, client satisfaction, and after-sales support to strengthen customer retention and repeat business
  • Participate in industry events, networking activities, trade exhibits, and business meetings to strengthen market presence and expand business networks
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, commercial standards, and industry regulations throughout the sales process
  • Mentor and support junior sales personnel while promoting a high-performance and client-focused sales culture
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Licensed Civil Engineer is required
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management within construction and industrial manufacturing industries
  • Strong background in handling construction materials, industrial products, engineering solutions, or project-based selling
  • Proven experience in managing client relationships, project coordination, and contract negotiations
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, project management, industrial operations, and technical specifications
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Highly analytical, target-driven, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, CRM systems, and sales reporting tools
  • Willing to travel for client visits, project meetings, and business development activities
