Accounting Manager - Services Industry

• Lead the month-end and year-end closing process.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and management reports.
• Review General Ledger activities, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Support external audits and financial reporting requirements.

Accounting OperationsOversee the day-to-day accounting operations, including:

• General Accounting
• Accounts Payable
• Accounts Receivable
• Billing
• Fixed Asset Accounting
• Bank Reconciliations
• Expense Accounting
• Payroll accounting support

Ensure accounting records are accurate, complete, and maintained in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.

• Oversee customer billing and invoicing.
• Monitor Accounts Receivable aging and collection performance.
• Ensure timely follow-up of outstanding receivables.
• Work closely with country operations to improve collections and resolve customer account issues.

• Support statutory reporting requirements across assigned entities.
• Coordinate with local finance teams and external auditors during audits.
• Ensure timely submission of required financial information and supporting schedules.

• Lead and develop the Finance & Accounting Shared Services team.
• Provide coaching, guidance, and performance management.
• Foster a culture of accuracy, accountability, collaboration, and service excellence.

A successful Accounting Manager should have:

• At least 8-10 years of progressive Finance and Accounting experience.
• Minimum of 3-5 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in multinational companies, or handling multiple entities is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting operations.
• Experience in Accounts Receivable and Collections.
• Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical, leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Experience in a Finance & Accounting Shared Services environment supporting Singapore and Southeast Asia operations, including compliance and internal controls, is an advantage.
