Department Head (Project Group)

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Leads, organizes and controls Projects Planning, Implementation, Design, Installation, and all aspects of assigned project (Civil, Electrical and Mechanical Projects).
• Manage and implement the project on time and within the approved budget cost.
• Delegate Job Assignments to Mechanical, Electrical and Civil Supervisors, Senior Supervisor and CAD Specialist.
• Instruct and assist Mechanical, Electrical and Civil Supervisor on the fundamental of engineering in preparing plans.
• Review and approve plans, scope, specifications, concept designs and layout of all projects handled by the Supervisors for presentation to the Management.
• Validate the cost estimate thru Value Engineering and PR requisition raised by the Supervisors.
• Reviews the project schedule especially the critical path of all projects.
• Ensures that all Projects are in conformance with the Standards and Specifications of the Project Plan and Design.
• Negotiates with Contractors the technical details for all mechanical, electrical and civil related issues that may affect project goal.
• Responsible for the efficient delivery of Mechanical, Electrical and Civil Projects while focusing on Cost, Quality, Safety, and Employee Environment.
• Regularly conducts general inspection of on-going jobs to ensure that it meets and conforms with the specifications as stated in the Scope and Specifications.

Qualifications:

• Must be a licensed Mechanical/Electrical/Civil Engineering
• With at least ten (10) years of work experience in Mechanical/Electrical/Civil Design and Installation of Manufacturing and Utilities Equipment, Project Management and with knowledge in drafting works. ISO background will be an advantage.
