Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining quality, taste, and consistency.
Follow food preparation procedures, portion control standards, and cooking methods established by the restaurant.
Inspect food ingredients for freshness and quality before use.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, cooking equipment, utensils, and workstations in compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
Properly store food items and ingredients using the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) inventory method.
Monitor food stock levels and promptly report shortages or replenishment needs to the Kitchen Supervisor or Chef.
Minimize food waste by practicing proper food handling and inventory control procedures.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and report any malfunction or maintenance issues immediately.
Coordinate with kitchen staff and service personnel to ensure timely preparation and delivery of customer orders.
Assist in receiving, inspecting, and organizing food deliveries.
Comply with occupational health and safety regulations, sanitation standards, and company policies.
Assist in menu preparation for special events, promotions, or seasonal offerings as directed.
Maintain personal hygiene and proper grooming while on duty.
