Job Description:
The Technical Sourcing Specialist is responsible for identifying, attracting, and engaging qualified candidates for technical and technology-related positions. This role focuses on proactive talent sourcing, market mapping, candidate generation, and pipeline development to support current and future hiring requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Talent Sourcing & Pipeline Development
Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates for technical, digital, IT, fintech, software engineering, cybersecurity, cloud, data, product, and technology-related positions.
Build and maintain robust talent pipelines for high-demand and hard-to-fill technical roles, ensuring a continuous flow of qualified candidates.
Conduct market mapping and competitor talent research to identify top technology professionals across target organizations and industries.
Utilize advanced sourcing techniques, including Boolean search, social recruiting, talent intelligence platforms, and professional networking channels to identify passive candidates.
Candidate Screening & Technical Assessment Support
Conduct initial candidate screening and qualification interviews to assess technical experience, core competencies, career aspirations, and overall role fit.
Evaluate candidates against technical requirements, project experience, technology stack exposure, certifications, and industry-specific expertise.
Prepare detailed candidate profiles and endorsement reports highlighting relevant technical skills, accomplishments, and suitability for hiring managers.
Partnership with Recruiters & Hiring Managers
Collaborate closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand technical hiring requirements, business objectives, and workforce needs.
Participate in job intake meetings to define ideal candidate profiles, critical technical competencies, and sourcing strategies.
Recruitment Systems & Reporting
Maintain accurate candidate records, sourcing activities, and talent pipelines within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and recruitment databases.
Track and analyze sourcing performance metrics, including candidate conversion rates, outreach effectiveness, pipeline health, and time-to-fill indicators.
Generate sourcing reports and provide recruitment insights to support workforce planning and hiring decisions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in talent sourcing, recruitment, executive search, or talent acquisition, with a strong focus on technical hiring.
Proven experience sourcing candidates for IT, software development, digital, fintech, telecommunications, technology consulting, engineering, or related industries.
Demonstrated success in identifying and engaging passive candidates for specialized and hard-to-fill technical positions.
Strong knowledge of Boolean search techniques, talent mapping, market research, and candidate engagement strategies.
