The Procurement Officer is responsible for sourcing and acquiring raw materials, equipment, and specialized components required for steel manufacturing operations. The role requires technical understanding of steel production inputs, supplier specifications, and industrial equipment, as well as direct coordination with foreign suppliers and manufacturers—particularly from China.

Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistics, Engineering, or related field or equivalent combination of technical training and extensive experience in industrial procurement and supply chain management
At least 2 years of experience in procurement for steel manufacturing or heavy industry
Proven knowledge of steel raw materials, industrial equipment, and supplier evaluation based on technical specifications
Strong negotiation, supplier management, and logistics coordination skills
Proficiency in Mandarin and English to support direct coordination with foreign suppliers and manufacturers
