Key Responsibilities
Payroll Support- Assist with payroll calculations, including hours worked, overtime, deductions, and net pay
- Verify timesheets and attendance records
- Maintain payroll documentation and records
- Identify discrepancies and ensure payroll accuracy
- Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
- Enter invoices and financial data accurately
- Support account reconciliations

Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Reconciliation- Manage QuickBooks Online
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
- Record journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy
- Reconcile payment processor transactions
- Maintain supporting workpapers and documentation
- Prepare monthly financial statements
- Produce balance sheets and income statements
- Analyze variances and financial trends
- Support budgeting and cash flow reporting

Key Responsibilities
Tax Preparation & Filing- Prepare federal and state tax returns, including:
- Form 1040
- Form 1120
- Form 1120S
- Form 1065
- Form 1041
- Review prior-year returns and carryovers
- Prepare workpapers and supporting schedules
- Ensure compliance with current tax laws and regulations
- Request missing documentation
- Explain tax results and filing outcomes
- Respond to notices and tax-related inquiries
- Maintain professional communication with clients
- Perform a detailed self-review before submission
- Resolve tax diagnostics and discrepancies
- Maintain organized workpapers and documentation
- Track filing and extension deadlines
- Assist with estimated tax calculations
- Support tax projections and planning engagements

- Active CPA license
- Recent hands-on Lacerte experience within the last 12 months
- Public accounting tax preparation experience
- Experience preparing Forms 1040, 1120, 1120S, 1065, and 1041

This role serves as the central point of contact for incoming and outgoing transitions, ensuring all documentation, accounting records, and administrative requirements are completed accurately and on time.
This position is ideal for professionals with a background in accounting, finance, project coordination, administration, or community management who enjoy managing multiple moving parts while maintaining accuracy and organization.
Key Responsibilities
Transition Coordination & Project Management- Manage incoming and outgoing transition processes from initiation through completion
- Serve as the primary point of contact for transition-related communications
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth handoffs
- Track project timelines, deadlines, and outstanding items
- Monitor task completion and provide regular transition status updates
- Maintain organized records of all transition-related documentation
- Develop and distribute transition materials, checklists, and communication documents
- Identify opportunities to improve transition workflows and operational efficiency
- Import and reconcile trial balances, accounts receivable balances, and financial records
- Assist with cash reconciliations and month-end close activities
- Review and organize financial documentation received during transitions
- Support the transfer of accounting responsibilities to ongoing accounting teams
- Ensure financial records are accurate, complete, and properly documented
- Assist with subsidy billing distributions and related tracking processes
- Request, receive, organize, and maintain transition-related records

- Perform administrative and operational tasks necessary to support successful transitions
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive business and financial information
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, administration, project coordination, or a related role
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and accrual accounting
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
