Job Opening: HR Associate - Employee Relations
We are seeking an experienced and motivated HR Associate to join our Employee Relations team. This role is key in maintaining positive employee relations, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and handling employee-related matters with professionalism and confidentiality.
Responsibilities:
- Review and address incident reports submitted by various business units.
- Prepare and draft Notices to Explain (NTEs) and disciplinary memos.
- Collaborate with the Legal Team in preparing NTEs and ensuring accurate documentation.
- Track NTE distribution and ensure employee acknowledgment.
- Organize administrative hearings, documenting meeting minutes.
- Draft and issue the notice of decision following hearings.
- Maintain records of employee offenses and disciplinary actions.
- Conduct employee orientation sessions on the company’s Code of Conduct and policies.
- Attend DOLE cases when required.
- Support the HR Manager with additional administrative tasks as needed.
Key Duties:
- Manage internal communication through Email and Lark, ensuring follow-ups are done promptly.
- Handle case assessments and investigations while documenting findings clearly and accurately.
- Draft required documents by referencing provisions in the Code of Conduct and presenting clear fact statements.
- Ensure organized filing of both hard and soft copy documents, securing all supporting records.
- Track attendance, signatures, and document completion.
- Prepare internal reports and ensure compliance with Employee Relations Service (ERS) requirements.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with the Labor Code of the Philippines.
- Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities.
- Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Thorough understanding of HR policies, labor laws, and guidelines on contract negotiations.
